These Terms of Service govern access to and use of SkillCite, including our learning platform, courses, assessments, certifications, and virtual lab experiences.
These Terms are written as a polished website-ready legal page for an education platform. By creating an account or using any part of SkillCite, you agree to these terms in full.

The following terms are used throughout this document with the meanings defined below.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Platform, creating an Account, or purchasing any Content, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
Accounts
To access most features, you must register. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Be responsible for all activity under your Account.
- Notify us immediately at support@skillcite.com of any unauthorised access.
- Not create multiple accounts or use automated means.
- Accounts are non-transferable and non-shareable.
Subscriptions & Payments
All prices are in INR unless stated otherwise. Pro subscriptions renew automatically. Pathway Bundles are one-time purchases with lifetime access.
Refunds
- All fees, purchases, and subscriptions are strictly non-refundable.
- No partial or prorated refunds will be issued upon subscription cancellation.
- Free Tier courses and previews are available to evaluate content before making a purchase.
- Account suspension or termination for terms violations does not entitle any refund.
Access & Licence
SkillCite grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence for personal, non-commercial educational use.
- No downloading or reproducing video Content.
- No redistribution, resale, or sublicensing.
- No use for ML model training without consent.
- No screen-recording or bulk extraction.
- No removal of copyright notices.
Acceptable Use
- No unauthorised access to systems or accounts.
- No malware or disruptive code.
- No bots or scrapers without permission.
- No impersonation.
- No unlawful, defamatory, or harassing content.
- No overloading of servers or networks.
- No circumventing security or DRM.
- No illegal use of AI features.
AI-Generated Content & Liability Disclaimer
- No Warranties of Accuracy: AI-generated content (including Ask AI responses, visual explanations, and lesson summaries) is provided for general educational guidance only and is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or error-free.
- No Professional Advice: Content generated by AI tools does not constitute financial, legal, medical, accounting, or professional advice. Users must independently verify all information before relying on it for real-world applications or decisions.
- Assumption of Risk & Non-Liability: SkillCite Trainings Private Limited, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from mistakes, inaccuracies, hallucinations, or reliance on AI-generated content. You assume sole responsibility and risk for your use of any AI outputs.
- Third-Party Processing: Queries submitted to AI features may be processed by automated third-party AI providers. Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or personally identifiable information into AI prompts.
- Ownership: All AI-generated content, models, and platform prompts remain the intellectual property of SkillCite.
Intellectual Property
All Content on the Platform is owned by or licensed to SkillCite Trainings Private Limited and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. The SkillCite name and logo are trademarks of SkillCite Trainings Private Limited.
User Content
By submitting User Content (forum posts, feedback, etc.), you grant SkillCite a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use it for operating the Platform. You retain ownership.
Certificates
- Certificates are non-transferable. Issued to the Account holder only.
- Not a professional qualification or academic degree.
- May be revoked if completion was dishonest.
- Verification URL is a feature, not a contractual obligation.
Disclaimers
The Platform and all AI-generated content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform or AI outputs will be error-free, uninterrupted, or accurate. Use of AI features, Trading Lab, or Business Lab outputs for real financial, trading, or business decisions is entirely at your own risk, and SkillCite disclaims all liability for actions taken based on such outputs.
Limitation of Liability
Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) INR 1,000.
Termination
You may delete your Account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your Account for violations. Upon termination, your licence is immediately revoked.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts of Pune, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Both parties agree to attempt informal resolution before legal proceedings.
Changes to Terms
Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
